The MetroScript service is known as a Transcription Application Service Provider (TASP). It acts as a secure web-based portal to allow
transcription companies to exchange digital files with their clients.
The MetroScript service works in five easy steps:
Everything is managed by you and your clients via an easy-to-use
secure online interface, which is available 24/7 to anyone with Internet access.

So there's no need to pick up tapes and drop off reports to/from your clients and, since you can manage the entire service through
our web interface, you can expand your operations and client base as geography is no longer an issue.
STEP 1 (Details)
There are two ways for authors to send voice files in the MetroScript service -- either dictate into a digital
handheld recorder and securely upload the voice files to the MetroScript service, or
dictate over the phone via our toll-free phone-in feature.
STEP 2 (Details)
Using our user-friendly online interface, you can download selected files
or all of the new voice files with one action.
STEP 3 (Details)
To listen to the voice files you use sound player software.
To control the playback (play, pause, rewind) you can either use keyboard actions or a foot pedal device.
STEP 4 (Details)
Using our secure online interface, you can upload selected files or multiple transcribed documents with one action.
STEP 5 (Details)
Your authors can download selected files or all of the new transcribed documents with one action.
Other MetroScript features:
• File management
• Work delegation
• Email notification
• "Branding" (service customization)
• Review cycle support
As you can see, the MetroScript service makes this a pretty simple process. No tapes involved, no C-phone systems, no transportation
on your part, no FTP accounts or software installations to deal with.
