A: There is a small setup fee to get your account, but then you can create other accounts for your employees,
clients, and authors, for free, on your own. We charge you for each minute of phone-in dictation by your clients and we also
charge you for file uploading through the browser. We have a small monthly minimum charge as well, and only accept credit cards as payment, which we require up-front,
and charge for your usage on the first day of each month. Please see our pricing page for the actual

A: No FTP software is required. Our service allows you to upload and download files through your browser.

A: The MetroScript service requires a recent version of the JAVA runtime component. Typically, this component is already installed on your computer.

A: MetroScript takes every precaution to ensure the security and integrity of your files and data. During file transfer
your files are passed through a state-of-the-art encryption algorithm provided by Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
the most secure digital certificate on the market. Once your files are uploaded to our system (through browser or phone-in),
they are stored on a RAID fault-tolerant drive based server which sits in a state-of-the-art data center. Additionally, our
database is backed up each evening. Please see

A: The MetroScript service infrastructure provides the HIPAA compliance for you by encrypting your file transfers and
housing the files in a secure, HIPAA compliant data center. Please see

A: MetroScript was developed and tested in Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) browser and, currently, that is the only
browser that is supported. So, you will need IE, version 5.5 or higher. In the future, we may modify our service to work in other
browsers.

A: No, we are a TASP (Transcription Application Service Provider). Our service is used by transcriptionists and
transcription companies, but we ourselves are NOT a transcription company and can not provide any transcription
service. In this manner, there is no conflict of interest and you should not be concerned about possibly losing
some of your clientele to MetroScript.

A: Yes, in addition to our online file upload capabilities, we also provide an IVR (Interactive
Voice Response) solution. Your authors can simply call the toll-free telephone number (which we'll provide when you sign up) and dictate right over the telephone.
The resulting voice file will immediately be available for you to download online using your MetroScript account. We charge you,
our clients, per minute, for the use of the phone-in dictation service. Please see our pricing page for the actual
